No need to read any further than that. Just wanted to share it as a very succiently put statement that is going round and round in my mind – to find ways of incarnating this notion. Retail Therapy
War, disaster, destruction? Not really. A new shopping mall. As I look out from an existing one, sipping my cappucino and chewing dust I feel issues creaking in my joints and a macabre fascination with it all. The asethetic of destruction.

Something about sacredness of human endeavour cast aside.

Something about now, about moving on. Not dwelling in the past.

Something about a mad rush of consumption – as if it is our salvation – or at least a salve.

And the audience look, wait expecantly, balancing precariously on their “and so..”

And I have no more to offer. Nothing to land you comfortably on one side or the other.

Nothing more to hang your waiting yesses and nos on.

It is what it is.
